Download and play

1. Download UrbanReignPC-1.3.0.zip below and extract it anywhere. Coming from 1.2.x? Replacing
   Urban Reign.exe, game\urban.exe and the game\mods\CoopTool folder is enough.
2. Open Urban Reign.exe.
3. In the Game tab, pick your own Urban Reign disc image (USA, SLUS-21209, .iso). The game is not included.
4. Press PLAY.

What's new

• Up to 8 human players (CoopTool): P5 to P8 can now be humans, each one on its own controller, with their own
  character (P5/P6), team, strength and health. The game reads 8 controllers but only ever set up 4; the port opens
  the multitap on port 1 too and gives controllers 5-8 to P5-P8.
  • Up to 5 players: the multitap on port 2 (the default). 6 to 8 players: switch it on in both ports in the
    launcher's Controls tab.
  • Controller N plays PN. The order is 1A, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, then 1B, 1C, 1D: port 1's multitap only adds players
    6-8, so players 1-5 stay where they were.
  • P5-P8 use controller 1's button layout and have no health bar on the screen.
• Extra fighters with their own moves: before, the bots in P5-P8 always fought with Brad's moves. Now they get
  their character's moves, as story mode does for its enemies, as long as the fight fits in the game's 4 move sets:
  each character with his own moves takes 1, a repeated character takes none, and thugs of one group share 1
  (e.g. Torque, Rod and Seth). Whoever does not fit keeps Brad's moves. During a fight the CoopTool tab shows how
  many sets are used and who was left out.
• P7 and P8 with the right look: the fight has 6 models and P7 and P8 both draw with P2's. They now always take
  P2's character; before, a P8 with another character replaced P2's model too.

O que há de novo

• Até 8 jogadores humanos (CoopTool): o P5 ao P8 agora podem ser humanos, cada um no seu controle, com
  personagem (P5/P6), time, força e vida próprios. O jogo lê 8 controles, mas só usava 4; o port abre também o
  multitap da porta 1 e dá os controles 5-8 ao P5-P8.
  • Até 5 jogadores: o multitap da porta 2 (o padrão). De 6 a 8 jogadores: ligue nas duas portas, na aba
    Controles do launcher.
  • O controle N joga com o PN. A ordem é 1A, 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D e depois 1B, 1C, 1D: o multitap da porta 1 só
    acrescenta os jogadores 6-8, então os jogadores 1-5 continuam onde estavam.
  • O P5-P8 usam o layout de botões do controle 1 e não têm barra de vida na tela.
• Lutadores extras com os próprios golpes: antes os bots do P5-P8 sempre lutavam com os golpes do Brad. Agora
  ganham os golpes do personagem, como o modo história faz com os inimigos, enquanto a luta couber nos 4 conjuntos
  de golpes do jogo: cada personagem com golpes próprios ocupa 1, personagem repetido não ocupa outro, e os capangas
  do mesmo grupo dividem 1 (ex.: Torque, Rod e Seth). Quem não couber fica com os golpes do Brad. Durante a luta a
  aba do CoopTool mostra quantos conjuntos foram usados e quem ficou de fora.
• P7 e P8 com a aparência certa: a luta tem 6 modelos e o P7 e o P8 desenham os dois com o do P2. Agora eles
  sempre pegam o personagem do P2; antes, um P8 com outro personagem trocava o modelo do P2 também.

What's new

• Real widescreen (16:9), on by default: Urban Reign has its own hidden 16:9 mode. The port turns it on, so you
  get more of the scene on the sides instead of a stretched 4:3. The game also moves parts of the HUD and plays the
  wide versions of the intro videos. The port fixes the camera's proportion too: the game's own 16:9 mode left
  everything about 7% too wide.
• Prefer the original picture? In the launcher's Video tab, set Aspect ratio to 4:3, or put
  AspectRatio=4:3 in game\config.ini under [Video]. As in the game's menu lets the game's Options menu
  decide. Keep Stretch to the window off for the right proportion on ultrawide monitors.
• HD textures without moiré far away: since 1.1.2 far floors used the full size HD texture, and fine patterns
  (like the dojo mat) showed wavy lines. HD textures without mipmaps (PNG) now get them generated when they load,
  and the graphics card picks the right level.

• Widescreen de verdade (16:9), ligado por padrão: o Urban Reign tem um modo 16:9 próprio, escondido. O port
  liga ele, então aparece mais cenário dos lados em vez de um 4:3 esticado. O jogo também ajusta partes do HUD e
  passa as versões wide dos vídeos de abertura. O port ainda corrige a proporção da câmera: o modo 16:9 do jogo
  deixava tudo uns 7% largo demais.
• Prefere a imagem original? Na aba Vídeo do launcher, em Proporção, escolha 4:3, ou coloque
  AspectRatio=4:3 no game\config.ini, em [Video]. Como no menu do jogo deixa o menu Options do jogo decidir.
  Deixe Esticar para a janela desligado para a proporção certa em monitores ultrawide.
• Texturas HD sem moiré de longe: desde a 1.1.2 os pisos distantes usavam a textura HD em tamanho cheio, e
  tramas finas (como o tatame do dojo) mostravam linhas onduladas. As texturas HD sem mipmaps (PNG) agora ganham
  mipmaps gerados ao carregar, e a placa de vídeo escolhe o nível certo.

What's new

• HD textures with mipmapping: the port renders with mipmapping on, and PCSX2 then gives the textures the game
  draws with mipmaps (floors, walls) another name (hash) than the one in packs made with mipmapping off. The port now
  also looks them up by the base level's hash, so those packs load fully. Packs made with mipmapping on keep working.
• No more HD textures popping with the distance: far away the GS started the texture at a smaller mipmap level,
  with yet another hash, and the original texture came back. With HD textures on, it now always starts at the full
  size level and the graphics card picks the level, so far surfaces stay HD (and smooth).
• Thanks to the player who found it!

O que há de novo

• Texturas HD com mipmapping: o port desenha com o mipmapping ligado, e aí o PCSX2 dá às texturas que o jogo
  desenha com mipmap (pisos, paredes) um nome (hash) diferente do que está nos pacotes feitos com o mipmapping
  desligado. Agora o port também procura pelo hash do nível principal, e esses pacotes carregam inteiros. Os pacotes
  feitos com o mipmapping ligado continuam funcionando.
• Texturas HD não piscam mais com a distância: de longe o GS começava a textura num nível menor do mipmap, com
  outro hash, e a textura original voltava. Com as texturas HD ligadas, ele agora sempre começa pelo tamanho cheio e a
  placa de vídeo escolhe o nível, então as superfícies distantes continuam em HD (e sem serrilhado).
• Valeu ao jogador que achou!

What's new

• The launcher finds the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime on more Windows editions (LTSC / IoT install it without
  the registry entries the launcher used to look for, and it then opened with no text). When there is no WebView2 at
  all, it says so and offers the download page or playing without the launcher, instead of opening broken.
• launcher.log next to Urban Reign.exe: your system (Windows, WebView2, graphics card), everything the
  launcher did and any error. If something goes wrong, send this file. The System tab has a button that shows
  it.
• Launcher black? Try opening it with "Urban Reign.exe" --disable-gpu.

• In-game menu (F2, "MODS / PATCHES"): each mod has its own tab there; the game keeps running while it is open,

• DLL mods: a mod is a folder in game\mods (its .dll and mod.json); turn it on in the Mods tab. Its
  options are saved per mod. To make your own: the mod kit.
• CoopTool (comes with the game, off until you turn it on):
  • Multiplayer with up to 8 fighters: 1 to 4 humans plus bots, every one for himself or custom teams; each
    fighter's team, AI (menu levels or story profiles), strength, health, infinite SPA and unbreakable limbs; Free Mode
    stages in Multiplayer (experimental).
  • Free Mode with up to 4 players: pick the mission, the number of enemies, the objective (original, defeat
    everyone, a target, break its legs / torso / head), each fighter's character, AI, strength and health, and whether
    the partner is forced in; enhanced camera with L3 (on) / R3 (off).

• PCSX2 .pnach patches now run every code type PCSX2 runs and reload live when you change them (F4 reloads
  them by hand).
• urban.exe has its own icon.

  • Uma aba Como usar explica cada parte e os limites.
• Patches .pnach do PCSX2 agora rodam todos os tipos de código que o PCSX2 roda e recarregam na hora quando você
  muda (F4 recarrega na mão).
• O urban.exe tem ícone próprio.
