What's Changed

Sysbox upgrade: v0.6.7.10-tc → v0.7.0.6-tc

  • Rebased on upstream runc 0.7.0 with CVE-2025-52881 / CVE-2019-19921 security patches
  • Kernel 6.18 support: pathrs-lite procfs safety checks fall back to direct /proc access inside sysbox's FUSE namespace (sysbox#13)
  • BTRFS bind mount fix: chown-based UID shifting fallback when ID-mapped mounts are blacklisted (sysbox#14, #18)

BTRFS bind mount tests (39-41)

New regression tests verifying that sysbox containers can use bind mounts from BTRFS filesystems:

  • Test 39: BTRFS bind mount with runc (baseline)
  • Test 40: BTRFS bind mount with sysbox (chmod+touch on mountpoint)
  • Test 41: BTRFS subvolume bind mount with sysbox

Focused test mode

New --only flag for the test binary to run specific test groups without the full suite:

./dockyardtest_linux --host HOST --user USER --only btrfs

Test results

  • 41/41 on iso-test VM (Ubuntu 24.04, kernel 6.8, ext4)
  • 7/7 BTRFS on sandman (Ubuntu 25.10, kernel 6.18, BTRFS root)
