A fork of 1.0 ShellOS for Linux
Requres:
NOTE: THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE ONLY FOR SHELLOS LINUX/WINDOWS 10 AND PYTHON ALONGSIDE SHELLOS WILL HAVE MUCH DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS

how 2 install!!

Install "ShellOS{ver}.zip" or "ShellOS{ver}.tar.gz" and extract.

Open Folder in VSCode or another IDE.

how 2 install terminal

Install "ShellOS{ver}.zip" or "ShellOS{ver}.tar.gz" and extract.
Make sure Python 3.12.2 or later is installed with python3 --version Install Python with sudo apt get python3 or pkg install python3
Use cd (Change Directory) and ls (List Directories) to navigate to /ShellOS(ver)/
run with python3 main.py 😎

  • GUI is now made using Pygame
  • theres now a background image
  • included some small documentation
  • made a ShellOS Core System version thats just the core of shellos without programs or a gui for making your own forks of ShellOS you can find here (Might not work on Linux)
