Description

Getting a new error after the 10.13 upgrade. There is a new property in the TML files called spotterconfig and cs_tools doesn't seem to recognize it.

Considering adding a log file.

@alexwillingham98 Thanks for this report and your patience — you were an early sighting of something we now handle much better. What you hit is "spec drift": cluster updates can introduce new TML attributes before the TML parsing library learns about them, and deploys crashed on the unrecognized attribute. As of v1.7.1 (#338), deploys no longer crash — affected files are skipped and named, with a clear explanation that the library needs an update, not your files. A thoughtspot_tml library update to fully parse the new attributes is also in motion upstream.

Upgrade with cs_tools self update, and see the v1.7.1 release notes for complete information. Closing as fixed on the cs_tools side — if you still see crashes (not warnings) after upgrading, comment here and we'll reopen.
