MacSystemRecorder v0.3.0
Fixes the Screen Recording permission loop by separating missing permission from the macOS relaunch-needed state. Adds Ask macOS and Quit & Reopen actions in the permission panel. Updates packaging scripts with explicit signing modes; PKG is the recommended install path until Developer ID notarization is available.
MacSystemRecorder v0.2.9
Changes the Screen Recording permission flow to the normal macOS pattern: open Settings, enable MacSystemRecorder, then quit and reopen. Removes the misleading Check Again permission loop from the permission panel.
MacSystemRecorder v0.2.8
Fixes the damaged app dialog from downloaded builds by restoring bundle-level ad-hoc signing while keeping the v0.2.7 permission-loop behavior. Local installed app was also replaced and quarantine metadata cleared.
MacSystemRecorder v0.2.7
Stops the permission prompt loop. Removes the Grant Access button that could repeatedly open System Settings, keeps Check Again as a pure ScreenCaptureKit retry, and avoids sealing the app bundle with a changing ad-hoc signature during packaging.
MacSystemRecorder v0.2.6
Fixes a false permission-needed state when macOS Settings already shows MacSystemRecorder enabled. The app now trusts the actual ScreenCaptureKit display-loading result instead of blocking only on CGPreflightScreenCaptureAccess.
MacSystemRecorder v0.2.5
Improves the macOS privacy permission flow. The app now uses a stable com.thunderisme.MacSystemRecorder bundle id, avoids prompting on launch, shows a clear permission panel, and provides Grant Access, Open Settings, and Check Again controls.
MacSystemRecorder v0.2.4
Open-source macOS screen recorder with system audio capture, start delay, crop selection, and automatic MP4 saving. Use the DMG for easiest installation.
