clarification on map files

Hi Team,

First allow me to take a second to acknowledge and salute you on the efforts being done on behalf of the tibia community - your efforts are AMAZING and the time you put in is Always Appreciated !!

MY question as a returning tibia player - I tend to play On and Off ... and for that reason specifically I always try to update the markers of things I know I will forget like what defense to use on this solo boss and what element to atk with -- or remind myself to wear an item specific to a certain hunting ground -- shortcuts or keys and items that i need to access an area ... etc

When trying to download the latest file I always take a backup and it seems to always just override my old saved maps and marker details ... So my question for you guys is there anyway to just download the latest update instead of the entire map (the logic is that i never went to the area before and hence nothing to be overwritten) or alternatively is there a way to preserve my markers but still download the map updates as is ??

I appreciate you taking the time to reply to this and I apologies in advance but I did try to see if there were any info in the guides before sending but couldn't find it.

Hi Wealoo,

That is not possible with the current setup. You'd need to download the files and filter the new maps manually.
