The winter season is in full swing, and I've refined our snow report engine to make sure you get the most accurate data.

Improvements

Dynamic Slope Logic

We've completely rebuilt how we handle slope data. The integration is now smart enough to distinguish between distance and quantity automatically:

  • Fractional kilometers (like 7,6 km) are now correctly parsed.
  • Dynamic Units: We now detect if a resort reports slope counts (e.g., "57 von 89") or kilometers, ensuring sensors show the right data for resorts.
  • Resorts without totals are now handled gracefully.

Better Snow Accuracy

  • Accurate New Snow: We've shifted our source for "New Snow" to the regional overview pages. This provides much more reliable fresh snow data compared to the detail pages, which often duplicated other values.
  • Smart Valley Fallback: Resorts that don't satisfy the "Tal" (Valley) report now fallback to the general "Schneehöhe" value. Perfect for high-altitude resorts that skip the valley stats.

Technical Changes

  • Sensor Versatility: Native support for both integer and float values in state reporting.
  • Cleaner Parser: Removed unreliable scraping logic in favor of robust, multi-page data consolidation.
