Adds audio, Bluetooth and desktop modules, with controls for audio devices, Bluetooth devices, displays, windows and workspaces, Hyprland and the Omarchy shell. Reports a lot more about the system too: battery state and every battery, network and disk rates, Wi-Fi, idle time and lock state, waiting package updates, failed systemd units and more GPU stats. Audio, battery, Bluetooth, displays, networks and system now update as soon as something changes, rather than once a minute.

Audio

  • Add the audio module, with each output's and input's volume, mute state and whether it's the default, from pactl on Linux and the Windows audio API.
  • Add the AUDIO_CONTROL event to set a device's volume and mute state, or make it the default.

See Audio control.

Battery

  • Add state, power, voltage and ac_connected, and a batteries list with every battery, including connected devices such as a wireless mouse.
  • Report the top-level fields for the first system battery.

Bluetooth

  • Add the bluetooth module, listing paired devices and whether Bluetooth is on, from BlueZ on Linux and classic Bluetooth on Windows.
  • Add BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_DISCONNECT, BLUETOOTH_FORGET and BLUETOOTH_SET_POWER.

See Bluetooth control.

CPU

  • Add load_average_5 and load_average_15, and estimate all three on Windows from the processor queue length.

Desktop

  • Add the desktop module with the open windows, workspaces and keyboard layout, from Hyprland, other Wayland desktops and Windows. Window titles stay off until you turn on Window titles on the web client's Desktop page.
  • Report Hyprland's displays, input devices, key bindings, global shortcuts, screencasts and config errors under hyprland, and the Omarchy shell's menus, panels and IPC targets under omarchy.
  • Add DESKTOP_CLOSE_WINDOW, DESKTOP_FOCUS_WINDOW, DESKTOP_FOCUS_WORKSPACE, DESKTOP_SET_KEYBOARD_LAYOUT and DESKTOP_SET_WINDOW_STATE.
  • Add HYPRLAND_DISPATCH, HYPRLAND_MOVE_WINDOW, HYPRLAND_RELOAD_CONFIG, HYPRLAND_RUN_GLOBAL_SHORTCUT and HYPRLAND_SET_WINDOW on Hyprland. The dispatchers are center_window, cycle_next_window, cycle_previous_window, move_focus, swap_window, toggle_group and toggle_split.
  • Add OMARCHY_MENU and OMARCHY_PANEL to open, close or toggle the Omarchy shell's menu and plugin panels.

See Desktop control, Hyprland control and Omarchy control.

Disks

  • Add read_bytes_rate and write_bytes_rate, in total and for each disk.

Displays

  • Add brightness and power_state, over DDC/CI or from a built-in panel's backlight.
  • Add the DISPLAY_CONTROL event to set a display's brightness and power state.
  • List displays from the kernel's DRM connectors on Linux without an X server, such as under Wayland. Their id is the connector, such as HDMI-A-2.

See Display control.

GPUs

  • Report fan_speed in RPM, and add fan_speed_percent, power_limit, encoder_load, decoder_load and performance_state.

Media

  • Read the album and player type from NowPlaying on Windows.

Networks

  • Add bytes_sent_rate and bytes_recv_rate, and an io for each interface.
  • Add wifi to wireless interfaces, with the ssid, signal, signal_percent and link_rate, through nl80211 on Linux and the WLAN API on Windows.

System

  • Add idle_time and locked.
  • Add package_updates, how many package updates are waiting, from checkupdates, apt, dnf or winget.
  • Add failed_units, the systemd units that failed.
  • Detect pending reboots on Arch and Fedora.

Live updates

  • Update audio, battery, bluetooth, displays, networks and system as soon as something changes, such as a charger being plugged in, a display connected, a Wi-Fi network joined or the session locked.

See Receiving data.

Linux

  • Keep every temperature reading when several chips share a driver, such as NVMe drives or memory modules. The later ones' keys end in a number, such as nvme_composite_2.
  • Count physical disks only in the disk I/O totals, so partitions, LUKS and LVM devices aren't counted twice.
  • Read the real link speed and duplex.

MCP

  • Add system_bridge_get_history, system_bridge_list_commands and system_bridge_run_command, which only runs commands from your allowlist.
  • Add tools for audio, Bluetooth, desktop, display, Hyprland and Omarchy control.

See MCP tools.

CLI

  • Add client audio, client bluetooth, client desktop, client display, client hyprland and client omarchy.
  • Print errors from client commands in the terminal, and wait as long as the backend for display and audio commands.

See CLI.

Web client

  • Add Audio, Bluetooth and Desktop pages, and list the pages alphabetically.
  • Add display brightness and power controls, battery state and every battery, network and disk rates, Wi-Fi details, load averages, GPU stats, idle time and lock state, waiting package updates and failed systemd units.
  • Show the desktop's displays, shortcuts, key bindings, inputs and workspaces as tables, and remember each table's rows.
  • Fill the window with the JSON view, and add search to it, opened with Ctrl+F from anywhere on the page.
  • Show action failures in an alert at the top.

Connector

  • Add the new modules, fields and actions to the Python and TypeScript connectors.

Moved

  • Display x and y can now be null when a display's position isn't known.

Dependencies

  • Update docker/login-action (#4484).
