Emomo 0.1.1 adds access keys, cumulative quotas and overload protection to the hosted search and original-image services.

  • Hosted search, metadata and image downloads require an administrator-issued Emomo key. Configure it with emomo auth configure --key-file /absolute/path/to/private-key-file; emomo auth status never prints the key.
  • Search and downloads each default to 120/hour and 500/day per key. Metadata reads share 600/hour and 2,000/day. UTC calendar windows apply; cached and failed admitted requests count. Respect Retry-After on 429/503.
  • Durable global budgets, backend admission limits and circuit recovery supplement IP/edge burst controls. These are resource controls, not an account billing cap.
  • Existing offline libraries stay selected and work without an access key. Authenticated image redirects are rejected; keys are sent only to explicitly bound destinations.

Install using the attached INSTALL.md. The archive has no runtime npm dependencies or install scripts and is distributed here, not on the npm registry. SHA256SUMS.txt and PROVENANCE.json identify the exact bytes, merged source and successful CI checks.
