New features

User quotas
Administrators can now limit the number of notes and the storage space of each user. Global limits are set from Settings (0 means unlimited), and per-user overrides can be defined from the storage statistics page, which now displays a quota column. Limits are enforced everywhere content is created: note creation, imports, attachments, Excalidraw drawings, the AI chat and the REST API. Administrators are exempt from quotas. Each user can see the limits applied to their account on their settings page.

Sign in faster with SSO
When OIDC is enabled, the login page now remembers the last account used on the device: the login button shows "Continue with your@email.com" and a new "Sign in with another account" button opens the identity provider's account chooser instead.

Improvements

  • The storage statistics page gets a clear button on the filter input and a button to go back to your notes.
  • The "Delete Account" card in Settings is visible again for non-administrator accounts (any account except the permanent super-admin can delete itself).
  • Instance-wide UI customization no longer hides elements for administrators, and the setting description now says so explicitly.
