Poznote 6.63.1

This version brings the icon sidebar to every page, adds search and replace to the selection toolbar, and prevents two people from editing a shared note at the same time.

✨ New

  • The icon sidebar is now on all pages, not just the notes page: Notes manager, Tags, Folders, Shares, Attachments, Trash, Diary and Tasks.
  • A new magnifier button in the selection toolbar opens search and replace with your selected word already filled in.
  • "Paste as Markdown" is now called "Insert HTML", same feature with a clearer name.

🔒 Editing shared notes

  • Public note editing is now protected by an edit lock shared with the app, so two people can no longer overwrite each other, and it expires 90 seconds after the last activity.
  • New API endpoints POST /public/notes/lock, /lock/heartbeat and /lock/release, and PATCH /public/notes/content now answers 423 Locked, see API-REST.md.

🎨 Interface customization

  • Unchecking "Entire icon sidebar" now unchecks every icon below it.
  • The all-users mode now reads "Interface customization (all users except administrators)".
