Poznote 6.73.0

Many UX/UI improvements, workspaces can be created without leaving the page, long list items finally wrap cleanly in the markdown editor, and multi-user instances get better control over which profile the API and MCP server talk to.

✨ New

  • Creating a workspace now opens a small modal, available from the sidebar workspace menu and from the create (+) menu, with duplicate-name detection. The Workspaces page stays the place to rename, move, share and delete.

  • Wrapped list items in the markdown editor now keep a hanging indent: when line wrapping is on, the wrapped portion of a long bullet, numbered item (including 1.2. style) or task aligns under the item's text instead of sliding back to column 0. The preview got the same treatment, so nested ordered lists number per level like other markdown renderers.

  • Middle-clicking a folder in the sidebar tree opens its Kanban view, the same way middle-clicking a note opens it in a new in-app tab.

  • The MCP server can be pointed at a specific user profile with the new POZNOTE_USER_ID environment variable, handy on multi-user instances.

🐛 Fixes

  • The note width setting is now honored in the markdown split view: the editor and the preview each show the configured width in their own half instead of ignoring the setting.

  • API requests carrying an X-User-ID header now take precedence over an existing session cookie, so MCP and API calls can no longer get pinned to the wrong profile after logging into the browser.

  • Pasting a note or folder in the sidebar tree now consumes the clipboard, so a stale Copy or Cut can't be pasted again later by accident.

  • Renaming a note inline in the tree no longer risks opening the note while placing the caret in the name field.

  • Markdown lists handle more edge cases: a bare numbered marker like 2.1. with nothing after it starts an empty item instead of gluing onto the previous one, and a deeper-indented item following wrapped lines no longer splits the list in two.

  • The "Change icon" entries have been removed from the folder and note ⋮ menus in the tree: a note's icon is changed by clicking the icon itself, and folder icons are managed from the folders page. Clicking a folder icon now always opens its Kanban view.

  • Dark mode polish for folder toggles and modals.
