`wt co` not actually changing directory

From VSCode, using git bash:

It says it's changing directory but it's not:

It does this same thing directly from Windows Terminal directly:

Is there something I'm missing, or is this a windows-path parsing problem?

I realized I hadn't run the init script, but it doesn't work because the bash terminal is trying to install a powershell script.
