Anchor Buddy 1.4.1
What's new
- New Anchor Buddy icon — the collapsed Anchor tab now shows the new Anchor Buddy mark, and a faint, larger copy sits in the empty space below the Anchor tab's tools. It scales to always fit between the last tool and the bottom of the panel, and steps aside entirely when the panel is too short.

What's new
- Convert to Outlines — the Build as Vector tool's Convert to Bezier button is now text-aware: select a text layer and the button reads "Convert to Outlines", running AE's Create Shapes from Text on it (a " Outlines" shape layer per text layer, source video switched off). A mixed selection converts shape layers' parametric paths to bezier and outlines the text layers in one click.

What's new
New Animation tools
- Point It — aim layers at a target. Mark one layer as the Target, press Point on any others: they rotate to track it live, each with a Rotation Offset dial. The target's Effect Controls add optional distance falloff (full strength inside the inner radius, smooth fade to the layer's own rotation by the falloff radius).
- Noise — soft, blobby animated grayscale noise (Fractal Noise dialed for large smooth shapes, zero grain). Set blob size, contrast, and morph speed; seamless Loop for GIFs; Clip to shape keeps it inside the layer's alpha. Renders black & white on purpose — color it with Tritone or a gradient map.
Compact tool layouts
- Randomizer and Motion Time shrink to two-up toggle grids; all options open in a settings popup when you press Randomize / Apply Motion.
- Corner Control: Equal corners on = instant apply; off = a per-corner popup.
- UI Builder: the four layer checkboxes become two-up switches (naming suffixes live in tooltips).
Panel polish
- Uniform tab layout: switching tabs no longer nudges the content sideways — the tab area now uses a slim macOS-style overlay scrollbar that takes no layout space.
- Curves: the editor announces what it's showing ("Selected keyframes — Position", clipboard, or editing state) in a banner above the graph.
Anchor Buddy 1.2.0
What's new
Anchor tab
- Mask-aware anchor placement — a layer with a mask anchors to the mask's bounds (exact bezier bounds, not just vertices). Multiple masks open a picker: choose one, or ignore masks and use layer bounds.
- The layer never shifts — anchor moves now compensate position exactly, including keyframed positions (every key adjusted, evaluated at its own time), separated dimensions, position expressions, 3D rotation, and auto-orient along a path.
- Compact layout — the anchor selector is ~40% smaller with the Align tool docked to its right: a Comp | Selection toggle over six align buttons. The whole tab is ~200px shorter.
Colors tab
- Turn fills and strokes off — drag the new no-color swatch (white with a red slash) onto Fill or Stroke to switch that operator off without deleting it. Drop a color back on to restore it. Works on text fills too.
- Swap fill ↔ stroke — one click exchanges the colors and the on/off states; a missing operator is created from the other's color.
Curves tab
- Live keyframe mirroring, now visible — a state banner above the editor announces "Selected keyframes — " whenever two adjacent keyframes are selected and the graph shows their actual curve, updating live as you tweak eases in AE.
