What's New

Desks

• A calibration for every place you work - If you use the same screens in different places, like a laptop at home, at university, and at the office, Dorso can now remember a separate calibration for each one. Press N while calibrating to save a new desk, then switch back anytime from the Recalibrate screen, the menu bar, or Settings, without recalibrating. Thanks to @LucaL1fe for suggesting this!

Timed Pause

• Take a short break - Pause Dorso for 5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes from the menu bar and it turns itself back on, so a quick break doesn't turn into the rest of the day. Thanks to @LucaL1fe for suggesting this!

Also in this release

• Settings profiles can now be renamed.
• Calibration now waits for the camera to start, so moving through the dots quickly no longer saves a broken calibration. Thanks to @ArnaudDerosin for the fix!
• A blur or warning no longer lingers on screen when you start recalibrating.
• Plugging in or unplugging a monitor now restores that setup's saved calibration when you use the same camera.

Installation

1. Download Dorso-v1.16.0.dmg or Dorso-v1.16.0.zip
2. Drag Dorso.app to Applications
3. Launch normally - no warnings!
4. Grant camera permission and complete calibration

Already on 1.14.0 or later? Dorso will offer this update automatically.
