**Potential Fix** if you're subs aren't appearing in the timeline after Transcription

So basically, I've been having the same problem as you guys. I click transcribe audio after setting everything up properly, it starts the processing as usual but then when it's done, it doesn't add the actual subtitles to the video timeline even when it shows in the Auto-Sub window.

Fix:

1. Make sure before you click transcribe, that only one Auto-Sub window is open.
2. Try changing your Track to Place Subtitles to a different video track. For me, it was usually video track 2, but then I tried transcribing on video track 3 and it worked fine.

UPDATE: Same problem happened after a while even with the 3rd track, so I added a 4th and it worked again. So basically, keep adding tracks till you get what you need lol.

I don't know if this just worked for me, or if this is an actual fix so do let me know!

I downloaded the SRT File, imported to media pool, and the dragged to the timeline! extra steps but it worked!

There is a semi-reliable fix for this, as far as I can tell, Autosubs has this glitch where it gets overwhelmed by stuff EXISTING in the timeline at all, so you can run autosubs to transcribe stuff, then create and go to an empty timeline, and then click add to timeline, and boom there you go it'll work just fine.

After that you can just move the text to the proper video track, cut it, go to the timeline you're working on, and paste it.
Or what I do is just export the video unsubtitled and then move the MP4 into the new timeline with the auto subs already on it, since it gets the timing of things wrong when there's multiple people speaking, so I have to clean it up a lot on my own.

This issue was opened against an older version of AutoSubs. The project has been completely rewritten since then — please update to the latest version as this is very likely already fixed. If you're still experiencing this on the latest version, please open a new issue with updated logs.
