JAMS v0.1.1 Release Notes

New Auto-Update System

This update introduces an automatic update system that will make future updates seamless:

  • Automatic Update Detection: JAMS now checks for new versions when launched
  • Background Downloads: Updates download automatically without interrupting your work
  • Install Notifications: You'll be notified when updates are ready to install
  • One-Click Installation: Simply click "Install Now" when prompted to update

System Requirements

  • macOS: 10.14 or later
  • Disk Space: At least 500MB free space for the application and updates
  • JAMS Dependencies: R 4.0+ and required R packages

Additional Notes

  • JAMS will check for updates only when launched in production mode
  • Updates install on application restart
  • Your settings and data will be preserved during updates

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed various UI glitches in the analysis modules
  • Improved stability when working with large datasets
  • Enhanced error reporting for R script execution
