ayu Vivid Space for Chromium 1.0.1

• Unfocused windows no longer get a grey veil. Chromium lightened the tab strip image on its own; now it shows a slightly darker starfield instead.
• The active tab is easier to spot: brighter title, dimmer background tabs, and a more solid toolbar.

Works in Helium, Chrome, Brave, Vivaldi and Edge.

Install

• Chrome Web Store (updates automatically): https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/aoioalpfpelgihdmabkkgiladebahaef
• Manually: unzip ayu-vivid-space-chromium.zip, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, then Load unpacked and pick the folder.

On Linux, the theme only shows when Settings → Appearance is set to GTK or Classic, not Qt.

Install

Firefox: one click on addons.mozilla.org, with automatic updates. For offline installs, drag ayu-vivid-space-1.0.0.xpi into a browser window. It's the same file, signed by Mozilla. Needs Firefox 140+.

LibreWolf or userChrome.css: unzip ayu-vivid-space.zip, run sh ayu-vivid-space/install.sh, set toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to true in about:config, enable the built-in Dark theme and restart.

COSMIC desktop: Settings → Desktop → Appearance → Dark → Import → ayu-vivid-dark.ron

COSMIC Terminal: Settings → Color schemes → Import → ayu-vivid-dark-terminal.ron, then select ayu Vivid Dark

Vim / Neovim: copy ayu-vivid-dark.vim to ~/.vim/colors/ or ~/.config/nvim/colors/, then :colorscheme ayu-vivid-dark. Truecolor, with a 256-color fallback.
