First public release on GitHub. The plugin existed at version 1.1 in plugin.php for a while but was never tagged or released; this is the "ship it properly" version.

✨ Highlights

  • PHP 8.4 / YOURLS 1.10 readydeclare(strict_types=1), typed return values everywhere, filter_input(FILTER_VALIDATE_INT, …) for the form input.
  • Output is escaped — every echoed value goes through yourls_esc_html / yourls_esc_attr.
  • Saner defaults & validation — accepted range tightened to 1–999 server-side (the input already enforced it client-side); invalid values now reset to 50 with a warning notice.
  • End-to-end tested in CI — every push spins up a YOURLS-on-PHP-8.4-Apache container in Docker, mounts the plugin, and runs a Playwright suite that covers plugin activation, the settings form (success / warning / no-change states), and that the saved value actually changes the YOURLS admin link table pagination. The suite runs twice via a strategy matrix — once with the Flynntes/Sleeky-backend admin theme, once without — so both common admin-UI configurations are verified.

📦 Install layout

The release ships two zips:

File What it is
YOURLS-Links-Per-Page-v1.2.0.zip Install-ready. Plugin runtime only (plugin.php, LICENSE, README.md) wrapped in a Links-Per-Page/ folder.
YOURLS-Links-Per-Page-v1.2.0-debug.zip Full repo snapshot — also wraps everything in Links-Per-Page/. Used by the CI suite, useful for reproducing failures locally.

Drop in to user/plugins/ so the path is user/plugins/Links-Per-Page/plugin.php.

🐛 Fixes

  • README's documented config URL ?page=lpp_config was wrong — the actual slug is ?page=links_per_page_settings. README + tests now agree.
  • Submitting an unchanged value used to show a generic "no changes made" message that read odd; it now reads No change — value is still N links per page.
