v0.17.0
Saying what an answer is worth. Consumers get a durable handle, can name an entity by the identity they already hold, and see the resolution of the timestamps they receive. Additive, no data migration; every existing call keeps working.
Added
identity_fingerprint(identityFingerprinton GraphQL) on every entity (#368, #369, ADR 0035). It is identical on every node and across incarnations, and every surface that accepts an id accepts it.- Inline identities as handles (#370):
type:key=value, comma-separated for multi-key identities. Matching stays exact. - A
resolutionblock onget_entity,entity_historyand GraphQLEntity(#373), stating the coarsest declared interval among the producers referencing the entity.
Performance
- The identity hash costs one allocation instead of seven, on read and ingest paths.
Fixed
- The identity hash encoding is frozen by golden tests.
- The GraphQL docs no longer say an id survives identity changes.
make fmtno longer rewrites generated files.
