Version 0.5.5 Changelog:

  • Fixed the ear-deafening audio blast on launch: the splash screen video was playing at 100% system volume no matter what — it completely ignored the app's mute and volume settings. The splash now follows the same audio settings as the in-app music, so it can never blast at full volume again.
  • All audio is now MUTED by default: both the splash video and the background music start completely silent — for new installs AND everyone updating from an older version (a one-time change, applied automatically on your first launch of 0.5.5).
  • Want the music back? Turn it on anytime via View > Music > Mute (uncheck it) — your choice is saved and remembered across launches and updates, and the app will never force-mute you again after that.
  • Even when unmuted, the splash video now plays at your chosen music volume (30% by default) instead of 100%.
