PeekCam gives you a quick, floating webcam window from your GNOME panel — like a mirror on your screen. Whether you're about to join a video call or want to check your lighting, PeekCam is a lightweight, privacy-conscious companion.

You can install PeekCam directly from the GNOME Extensions website:
- Left-click the 🪞 PeekCam icon in the GNOME top bar to toggle the webcam preview
- Right-click the icon to switch between available cameras
- The preview floats and stays on top of other windows
- Click again to close it
Q: Does it record or save video?
A: 🔐 No. PeekCam is just a live mirror — nothing is saved.
Q: What if I have more than one camera?
A: Just right-click the icon to choose which one to use!
Q: Can I resize or move the window?
A: Not yet — this is planned for a future version! 🎯
