Mp3 Player:
Allows you to play all the MP3s from the SD-card. You can set the TFT-Display to Auto-Mode. In this mode the display-backlight will shutoff when no user interacts with the system. This saves about 70mAH of power. No worries, it turns backs on when touching the display. Furthermore, the light bulb can be switched on and off.
Note that touching the display is not quite snappy when using the Mp3 player. This is due to the fact that the MP3 module is quite slow. Between sending two commands, we need to wait a small amount of time. Otherwise Mp3 playback will be distorted. The system internally forces this delay and tries to hide these delays as best as possible.
There are some hidden features within the Mp3-Player:
- The light bulb will be disabled when the power is low.
- The light bulb will be disabled when a certain time has passed.
- The Mp3 player will stop when an alarm fires.
- The Mp3 player will stop when battery voltage is low.
Main-Menu:
By pressing the "Plus-Icon" on the main screen, a main menu with all central features is shown. Here, you will now also find the firmware update section.
Translations:
I translated most texts to English and corrected the placement on the screen.
