Kitchen Timer
I integrated a kitchen-timer. It is available to select from the main menu. When active, the timer will show an animation/indicator and trigger an alarm when the time is over.

Storing Preferences
Preferences that can be configured on-screen are now persisted on flash memory. These preferences are then restored after powering on the system. The following preferences are stored:

  • Alarm Volume
  • Delay for turning on the alarm bulb after an alarm has triggered

Note that the alarms are stored within the RTC-module and preserved, as well.

Improved timezone handling
The date of the last time change due to the timezone is now persisted. This allows us to detect necessary clock adjustments when the system has been offline for a long time.

  • Fixed a bug where MP3 playback did not end after an alarm has triggered
  • Fixed a bug where timezones where not correctly applied
  • Fixed a bug where the system boot time was wrong on the notifications screen
