@tomislavrupic tomislavrupic released this 09 Aug 13:46

ALi Imagine v0.6.4

Project-aware local production

This release connects ALi Imagine to the Sirius execution layer and KITKAT memory handoffs while keeping every application independently usable and local-first.

Highlights

  • Added verified Sirius draft intake with immutable prompt provenance and optional shared Pixel project identity.
  • Added native SeedVR2 3B temporal 2× video restoration for H3, LTX, cloud, and imported videos.
  • Preserved source videos and original audio, with queue progress, cancellation, checksums, lineage, and recoverable failures.
  • Kept LTX Pixel Spatial available as an optional LTX-specific upscale route.
  • Separated video resolution and duration controls and removed legacy H3 runtime terminology.
  • Improved H3 MLX progress, diagnostics, first/last-frame workflows, and send-to-ALi review behavior.

Installation

  1. Download the Apple Silicon DMG.
  2. Drag ALi-Imagine to Applications.
  3. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open if macOS displays an unidentified-developer warning.
  4. Open System to install or verify optional local engines.

Large local models remain separate app-managed downloads. Existing projects, outputs, credentials, model installations, and certifications remain in place. The application is ad-hoc signed and is not Apple-notarized.

ALi Imagine v0.6.2

Hailuo H3 references and diagnostics

This update expands the local Hailuo H3 workflow and makes long-running system
actions and renders easier to understand.

Highlights

  • Added certified H3 first-and-last-frame video generation.
  • Added the separate H3 Ref2VA path for one ordered image and one audio
reference, generating synchronized picture and sound locally.
  • Added persistent progress feedback to System actions so verification and
hardware tests visibly report that work has started.
  • Added measured H3 render duration and phase timings to the selected asset's
Inspector, including older renders whose metrics are stored in provenance.
  • Preserved the original ALi Imagine application icon.

Installation

  1. Download the Apple Silicon DMG.
  2. Drag ALi-Imagine to Applications.
  3. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open if macOS displays an
    unidentified-developer warning.
  4. Open System to install or verify optional local engines.

Large local models are separate app-managed downloads and are not included in
the DMG. Existing projects, outputs, model installations, certifications, and
credentials remain in place when the application is updated.

The application is ad-hoc signed and is not Apple-notarized.

Hailuo H3 MLX

ALi Imagine 0.6 adds isolated local Hailuo H3 text-to-video and image-to-video generation with joint video and audio output.

Highlights

  • Draft 3s, High Quality 3s, High Quality 5s, and Long 10s presets
  • isolated app-managed Python and MLX runtime
  • resumable model installation with pinned identity and explicit license consent
  • real audiovisual signal certification before the engine is marked ready
  • queue cancellation, interrupted-job recovery, immutable outputs, prompt caching, checksums, and provenance
  • LTX text-embedding cache reuse fix

Installation

Download the Apple Silicon DMG and drag ALi-Imagine to Applications. Local models are optional separate downloads and are not bundled. Hailuo H3 requires approximately 70 GB.

The application is ad-hoc signed and is not yet Apple-notarized.

ALi Imagine v0.5.0

Locked production checkpoint

This release freezes the current ALi Imagine workflow after a stability and
media-viewing pass. Existing projects, immutable assets, xAI, Krea, LTX, and
local model installations remain compatible.

Highlights

  • Centered Stage media reliably and reset stale zoom or pan when the selected
asset, source, mode, or comparison view changes.
  • Kept Fit, zoom, and pan controls available without allowing previews to drift
    outside the Stage.
  • Moved expensive local-engine filesystem and integrity checks off the UI
thread, reducing stalls when opening System or switching workspaces.
  • Added a native LTX Audio-to-Video path using one start frame, one audio file,
    and a performance signal.
  • Preserved the legacy video-plus-audio LipDub path for existing recipes.
  • Recorded resolved audio/video settings, timing, checksums, and model identity
    in immutable output provenance.
  • Deferred deep model checksum validation until an operation runs while keeping
    lightweight readiness checks responsive.

Installation

  1. Download the Apple Silicon DMG.
  2. Drag ALi-Imagine to Applications.
  3. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open if macOS displays an
    unidentified-developer warning.
  4. Explore the interface immediately, add an xAI key, or configure local engines
    later from System.

Local engines and model weights are not bundled in the DMG. Existing
Application Support data is discovered in place.

The application is ad-hoc signed and is not yet Apple-notarized.

@tomislavrupic tomislavrupic released this 25 Jul 13:28

ALi Imagine v0.4.9

First-run compatibility

ALi Imagine now opens as a usable studio before any local engine, model, hardware
certification, API key, or existing project is present.

Highlights

  • Fixed a clean-install crash caused by a development-machine database path.
  • Clean installs now store state in macOS Application Support.
  • Added a zero-install Explore Interface path.
  • Made xAI Grok the safe optional cloud path after adding an API key.
  • Deferred LTX, Krea, FLUX, Hugging Face, and media discovery until needed.
  • Prevented Library navigation from re-hashing multi-gigabyte model assets on
    the UI path.
  • Moved local capability checks off the Tauri command thread so page changes
    remain responsive.
  • Preserved existing projects and local-engine installations.

Installation

  1. Download the Apple Silicon DMG.
  2. Drag ALi-Imagine to Applications.
  3. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open if macOS displays an
    unidentified-developer warning.
  4. Explore the interface immediately, add an xAI key, or configure local engines
    later from System.

The application is ad-hoc signed and is not yet Apple-notarized.

LTX Quality and First + Last Frame

  • Adds a Full BF16 high-quality LTX path with a 720p master preset.
  • Improves First + Last Frame generation with explicit frame wells, Finder drag and drop, deterministic framing, prompt compilation, and optional camera motion.
  • Adds REDO for restoring the original frames, prompt, seed, and settings.
  • Adds LTX Pixel Spatial Upscaler 2x as an immutable derived-asset operation.
  • Adds local lip-sync pipeline foundations and certification controls without presenting uncertified capability as ready.

This Apple Silicon build is ad-hoc signed but not notarized. macOS may require right-clicking the app and choosing Open on first launch. Local model downloads remain separate and explicit.

Verification

  • Frontend tests: 34 passed
  • Rust tests: 103 passed, 28 hardware-gated tests ignored
  • TypeScript production build passed
  • Rust formatting and Clippy with warnings denied passed
  • Application code signature verified

ALi Imagine v0.4.6

First Install

  • Adds a restrained first-run setup assistant.
  • Detects existing xAI credentials, local engines, optional tools, projects, and outputs.
  • Skips onboarding after app reinstall when existing Application Support data is found.
  • Offers clear cloud, local-image, and local-video setup paths.
  • Shows approximate local storage requirements before configuration.
  • Keeps all model downloads explicit and preserves existing licence and certification gates.
  • Adds a permanent Open Setup Assistant action in System.
  • Updates the DMG layout for the conventional drag-to-Applications installation.

Preserved behavior

No provider request schemas, model execution paths, queue semantics, project storage, immutable assets, credentials, or certified generation behavior were changed.

Distribution status

The current artifact is Apple Silicon and ad-hoc signed. Developer ID signing and Apple notarization remain required before frictionless public distribution.
