This special TABConf release of provides a hands-on introduction to decentralized, bitcoin-backed dollar balances on the Lightning Network. Stable Channels aims to be a peer-to-peer alternative to centralized stablecoins.
This release includes a sneak peek of trading capabilities that will be demonstrated during the workshop.
The macOS app is also available on the Apple App Store.
Preparation
Before the session, set up a Lightning wallet with at least $100 of spendable capacity. If you don't have this much, or don't want to use this much, just tell the organizer.
You’ll be sending a payment to yourself to open and stabilize a channel. So you'll get your money back after the channel open and close.
