This is our first official release in months, and the apps have grown up a lot since then. The mobile wallets gained some of the features you'd expect from a serious Bitcoin app: biometrics, iCloud seed backup and restore, a QR scanner for invoices (camera or photo library), push notifications that keep your balance stable even when the app is closed, a fully redesigned settings area, and a live price charts on the home screen.

Reliability was the other big theme. The stability engine got hardened end-to-end — payments are recorded atomically, trades are protected against replay, and channel splicing now works and reports correctly across iOS, Android, and desktop. Transaction history is accurate and dollar-denominated, closes and receives link to the real transaction on a block explorer, and the apps sit on updated LDK releases with faster startup and lower idle CPU.
Version 0.9 also brings everything onto one aligned release: iOS, Android, and desktop all ship as 0.9, and builds for macOS, Linux, Windows, and Android are now published automatically with every release.
The iOS version 0.9 is pending in the App Store Review.
