Oracles-NX

Oracles NX 1.0

First release of Oracles NX, a native Nintendo Switch port of Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons, built on oracles-decomp by kirby-letsgo.

The games run as native C code: no CPU emulator and no ROM code.

Features

• Both games in one app, with a launcher showing each game's save files
• Save states (4 slots with thumbnails) and a Resume state on quit
• Screen filters (sharp, scanlines, LCD grid, CRT) and widescreen 16:9 mode
• Fully remappable controls and fast-forward (hold ZR)
• Full screen in handheld (720p) and docked (1080p)

Installation

1. Copy oracles.nro to sdmc:/switch/oracles/
2. Copy your own USA / Australia ROMs (.gbc, .zip or .gz) to sdmc:/switch/oracles/roms/
3. Launch Oracles NX from the Homebrew Menu. The ROMs are installed on first launch.

Only the USA / Australia versions are supported (checked by SHA1). See the README for the hashes.

Default controls

A / B: A / B · +: Start · −: Select · R: pause menu · ZR (hold): fast-forward

No game files are included. You need your own ROMs. This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo or Capcom.

Credits

All the real work on the game reimplementation is by kirby-letsgo (oracles-decomp), based on the oracles-disasm community disassembly. Switch port by Toniisound.
