v1.1.0 - The Universal GPU & Customization Update

This major update introduces intelligent hardware detection, making GPU acceleration accessible to everyone, and adds powerful new options for file organization.

✨ New Features & Major Changes

  • 🧠 Smart GPU Auto-Detection: This is the biggest new feature! The application now automatically detects the best available hardware encoder on your system. Full support is added for:

    • NVIDIA (NVENC)
    • AMD (AMF)
    • Intel Quick Sync (QSV)
The UI remains simple: just check "Use GPU Acceleration" and the app does the rest!
  • 📝 Custom Filename Templates: You can now take full control of your output filenames! Use the new "Filename Template" field to create custom naming schemes with placeholders like:

    • {filename} - The original name of the video file.
    • {resolution} - The output video resolution (e.g., 1080p).
    • {codec} - The video codec used (e.g., HEVC-NVENC).
    • {bitrate} - The video bitrate (e.g., 15M).
    • {date} - The current date.

🐛 Improvements & Fixes

  • Fixed {resolution} Placeholder: The {resolution} placeholder now intelligently uses the original video's resolution when you are not scaling, preventing blank spots in filenames.

📦 Assets

  • Sub-Zero-Encoder.zip: The portable, ready-to-use application for Windows.
