My Weather allows users to search for current and future weather conditions for a certain location. It uses the Google Places API to autocomplete location search, OpenWeather API to fetch the weather conditions, and a backend API built in Ruby on Rails to store recent searches. The Front End is written in React with the Rails API as the back end.

Finance Stock Tracker

A blog I created. I used Rails for the back-end and React for the front-end. Hooks up with an API call to a server I had running with Postgres. My initial outline of the app included all aspects of REST, but I decided to make it "Read Only" and leave article creation and management database-side. See screenshots below. Uses React Router and Redux.
