OTA Overview

Use DeviceOtaAPI to update the main firmware of a supported AIBuds device from a package already downloaded to a local file path. This workflow is separate from Camera OTA, which updates the camera module firmware.

The SDK exposes the device battery threshold and the device-reported otaProtocolCapability, reports whether the OTA task started, streams progress from 0.0...1.0, and reports final success plus average transfer speed in kB/s. An OtaConfiguration overload selects the required BLE OTA protocol. ABMate support is built in; FitCloud Pro and Jieli use optional plugins that must be installed and registered before connecting a device. Task-start success is not final upgrade success; only the completion handler provides the authoritative final result.

The SDK does not check a remote update service, download firmware, provide release notes, or choose a firmware package. Those responsibilities belong to your update backend and host app.
