Initial preview of Stabilizer for Ubuntu 26.04, Linux 7.0+, systemd 259+ and cgroups v2 (amd64).

  • Native Rust + GTK4/libadwaita memory monitor; small user-session agent.
  • English, Spanish and Russian with persisted runtime language selection for the GUI, tray and messages.
  • Live memory, swap and PSI data; persistent protected/high/normal oomd priorities and reversible soft limits.
  • Native tray summary available while the main window is closed.
  • Agent self-protection from systemd-oomd and automatic recovery after unexpected termination. Intentional owner stops remain supported.

Validation: format and Clippy checks, 9 unit tests, GitHub CI build/package/checksum, and live systemd policy, tray recovery and language-switching smoke checks on Ubuntu 26.04.1 / Linux 7.0.0-38.

Protection applies to systemd-oomd; it does not block the kernel OOM killer, manual administration or session shutdown. See README for cgroup limitations and uninstall guidance.

License: Stabilizer Source-Available License 1.0 — No Resale. Personal/internal business use, modifications and free redistribution are permitted. Resale/paid software bundling requires separate written permission. This is not an OSI-approved Open Source license. Dependencies keep their licenses.

Download the .deb and .sha256 to the same directory, then run:
