The Cairn

The Cairn is intended to provide the organizational tools to learn traditional tunes as well as retain them. Users can build tune lists for each of their instruments, track their progress, and once committed to memory, the tunes will be recommended for review using a variation of the spaced repetition method. Included with the practice session pages are a metronome, drone and tuner.

Notation is provided using open source ABC utilities and the application supports multiple settings for the same tune. Tunes can be linked to thesession.org and incorporate aliases and settings from the content provided there.
