Trishul SNMP Suite v2.2.4

PATCH-224-001: simulator default generation validated against the local vendor MIB corpus.

Fixed

• Index-column defaults retain their declared SNMP type and constraints. Row values 1 and 2 are used only when allowed, fixing startup and custom-data saves for CIENA-CES-MPLS-MIB::cienaCesMplsPwVifIndex (Unsigned32 (32769..2147483647)). String, BITS, and enum columns containing “index” in their name also retain their type and valid default.
• Textual-convention defaults follow imported alias chains to their SNMP wire types, preserving Counter64, unsigned, string, OID, IP, and Opaque values. Numeric types take precedence over object-name hints.

Validation

• Offline local corpus: 429 compiled modules, 104,429 generated objects across three random seeds; no runtime parse or size/range validation failures. Five source modules with unavailable dependencies are explicitly excluded from this result.
• Compared with v2.2.3, which reproduces the reported CIENA failure for both generated rows.
• Live UDP startup, GET, custom updates to both sysName and the CIENA index, and persistence across restart.
• Backend release tests, coverage thresholds, migrations, startup smoke, frontend build, and live runtime tests.

Added

• scripts/validate_simulator_corpus.py: repeatable validation of a compiled corpus, optional baseline comparison, JSON evidence, and live simulator checks using isolated temporary runtime data.

Migration

• Pull or rebuild 2.2.4 and restart the suite. Existing data, bundles, and custom overrides remain compatible; no database migration is required.
