VivalArc v1.3.0
This release refreshes VivalArc after a long gap between updates and brings the project up to date with Vivaldi 7.9.
Highlights
- Added compatibility for Vivaldi 7.9.
- Simplified the root stylesheet again to reduce fragile custom overrides and improve resilience against future Vivaldi UI changes.
- Cleaned up a number of visual issues that had accumulated over time.
- Reorganized repository structure, docs, and archived versions for easier maintenance.
Maintenance Direction
Most mainstream browsers, including Chrome, now ship with built-in vertical tabs. For me, Vivaldi's biggest remaining advantage is still its level of customization.
Because of that, I plan to keep maintaining VivalArc, but future updates will focus more on interface bugs, visual regressions, and compatibility fixes than on expanding more style variants.
Notes
- The root directory version remains the only actively maintained version.
- Legacy variants and archived versions are still kept in the repository for reference and compatibility.
