v2.4.3
Scratch files get their interpreter back on PyCharm 2026.2.
Fixed
- Setting a module interpreter now also fills in a missing project interpreter, so Python scratch files resolve
print, sysand the rest of the standard library again (#240). PyCharm 2026.2 configures uv and pyproject.toml projects per module, which leaves.idea/misc.xmlwithout theproject-jdk-namethat scratch files read (PY-89831). A project that already points at a Python interpreter keeps it. - Both interpreter actions write
.ideato disk on the spot instead of at the next autosave.
Internal
- Builds against the PyCharm 2026.2.2 release, replacing an EAP build that JetBrains has removed.
- Release notes reach
CHANGELOG.mdand the Marketplace listing instead of an unexpanded placeholder.
