That is pretty. Do you also have anything else running along with BirdNET-Go display? /me waiting for color e-ink displays to get cheaper ;-) |

Thank you, I will add this to related projects in project readme |

That looks very nice, great project. |

Glad to hear that ... let the Pi 5 do all the work and use the Pi Zero to drive the display :-) |

One more question. What about an installation of fugleramme with an existing BirdNET-go installation? bng defaults to port 8080, same as fugleramme. |

Tried to install on a fresh SDcard with: and got the following error: installation aborts. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
I've been running BirdNET-Go on a Raspberry Pi 5 in my kitchen in Bergen, Norway for a while. I built a thing on top of it that I thought this crowd might like.
Fugleramme is an e-ink frame that reads the BirdNET-Go db and matches detected species to public-domain natural-history cutouts. It packs the birds as a collage and renders them on Inky Impression e-ink panel. Larger birds toward the centre, by body mass, and the smaller around. It refreshes when the species change, and and also serves the same as a web kiosk. Since june I've had 37 different species in over 2000 detections (I've tuned BirdNET to be pretty strict)
