Highlights

  • Added release channel management with default and per-plugin stable or pre-release selection.
  • Added WP-CLI support for GitHub sources, channels, cache flushing, plugin listing, install, update, and uninstall workflows.
  • Added pre-extraction SHA-256 verification for managed GitHub release ZIP downloads using published .sha256 sidecar assets.
  • Added verification state visibility in the admin UI and WP-CLI plugin inventory output.

Operational Notes

  • The release workflow expects the tag to match the plugin version header and readme.txt stable tag.
  • Managed installs and updates now fail closed if a matching .sha256 asset is missing or does not match the downloaded ZIP archive.
  • Existing installs that predate checksum recording will show verification as unknown until they are reinstalled or updated through the manager.
