• trackly_search_jobs(companyId) returned 0 for any company without PM-classified roles. The MCP URL builder dropped the jobFunction query param entirely when the caller omitted function. Backend (granola-followup-app/src/routes/jobscout.ts:3473-3478) then fell through to a legacy boolean filter defaulting to j.is_pm_role = TRUE. Surfaced 2026-05-20 on two unrelated freshly-activated companies — Cahoot (id=3349, smartrecruiters, 5 jobs none PM) and Iterative Health (id=3350, greenhouse, 46 jobs none PM) — both returning total: 0 from search_jobs despite having jobs in the DB. Fixed in PR #27: when params.function is undefined, send jobFunction as the full 14-item canonical function list. This triggers the backend's isAllJobFunctionsSelection all-roles short-circuit at jobscout.ts:3461. Added regression test in test/mcp-schema.test.js that textually asserts both the new defaulting expression AND absence of the old buggy if (params.function !== undefined) qs.set(...) pattern (including the braced/multi-line form, per Copilot R1 feedback).
