PilotCommBox 2026.09.01-beta

First public beta of PilotCommBox — a standalone virtual audio panel & intercom for MSFS 2024 with BeyondATC / vPilot. Works like a GMA-345-style audio panel: per-crew-member headsets, VOX/PTT intercom with sidetone, radio PTT to ATC with real-panel TX lockout, game audio mixed into every headset, and radio-over-game ducking.

Features

• Multiple crew stations, each with its own mic, headset, volumes, and PTT bindings (keyboard or joystick/yoke buttons, working while the sim has focus)
• VOX or PTT intercom between stations, per-station cold-mic switch
• Radio path to BeyondATC/vPilot via VB-Audio Virtual Cable, with first-to-key TX lockout
• Game/sim audio captured via Windows process-loopback — no extra cable needed
• Radio-over-game audio ducking, sidetone, live level meters
• Built-in diagnostics: --smoketest, --latencytest, --echoprobe (finds which process is playing delayed audio)

Install

Download and run PilotCommBox-Setup-2026.09.01-beta.exe (per-user install, no admin needed, .NET included). Windows SmartScreen will warn because the app is not code-signed — choose More info → Run anyway; the full source is in this repo.

Requirements

• Windows 10 (2004+) or Windows 11
• VB-Audio Virtual Cable (free) — only for the ATC radio path

Known notes

• Hearing your own voice with lowest latency: use your headset's hardware mic-monitoring (e.g. Razer Synapse) and leave the app SIDETONE at 0
• Settings live in %APPDATA%\PilotCommBox and survive upgrades/uninstall
