v0.6.0-rc.2 — Phase C tray simplification

[0.6.0-rc.2] — 2026-04-26

Phase C — tray menu simplification. Top-level tray collapses from 14
visible widgets to 8, with three primary verbs (Chat / Files / Channels)
promoted to top-level alongside the full Tower deep-link. Every existing
menu ID + action handler is preserved — backwards-compatible refactor.

meta + Open Tower + Connect/Disconnect + Open in + Health Test +
AIL Connection Info + Pods & Agents + Shared Folders + Settings +
Troubleshoot + Documentation + About + Quit. Phase C goal: ≤8 ✓.

• 3 new menu IDs: open_tower_chat, open_tower_files,
  open_tower_channels — each routes to web_server::open_tower_at("#chat"| "#files"|"#channels"). Phase B's tab routing in tower.html consumes the
  hash; until Phase B lands, Tower's hashchange handler ignores unknown
  anchors and the page loads at root — no broken behavior, no surprise.
• Disconnect / Connect, Open in ▸, Run Health Test moved into
  Quick actions ▸. All three were former top-level items; the verbs
  remain reachable in ≤2 clicks (T → Quick actions → action).
• Pods & Agents ▸ renamed "Show all pods" and nested under
  Quick actions ▸. Per-pod actions (Open in Browser, Channels, Files,
  Restart, Refresh creds, Uninstall, Revoke) all reachable in ≤3 clicks
  (T → Quick actions → Show all pods → click pod). Previously 1 fewer
  click but at the cost of 30+ items dumped onto a top-level submenu.
• Shared Folders ▸ nested under Quick actions ▸. Per-binding
  click → open in Finder still ≤3 clicks deep.
• AIL Connection Info ▸ nested under Quick actions ▸. The export
  blocks for Claude Code / Cursor / OpenCode / OpenAI / Anthropic stay
  reachable for power users; grandma never sees them.
• Documentation + About Tytus fold into Help ▸ (formerly
  Troubleshoot ▸). Two top-level text-link items go away.
• Troubleshoot ▸ → Help… rename. Under Phase D the inner labels get
  vocab cleanup; rc.2 keeps every internal label byte-identical to v0.5.5.

Backwards compat

• Every existing menu ID is preserved. Action handlers in
  handle_menu_event are byte-identical for the moved items
  (disconnect, connect, test, launch_*, copy_ail_*,
  open_mcp_guide, pod_*, install_agent, install_agent_*,
  shared_folders_*, units_line, pod_header_*, no_pods,
  docs, about). They live under different parent submenus
  but respond to clicks identically.
• 3 new IDs added (open_tower_chat, open_tower_files,
  open_tower_channels). Old IDs kept; new IDs additive.
• Internal types, file names, log lines, CLI surfaces unchanged
  vs rc.1.
