Treasure AI Voice Desktop v0.1.0 (Beta)

First public release of the Treasure AI Voice desktop app for macOS and Windows — record your meetings, get AI transcripts and summaries, and keep everything in your Treasure AI Voice workspace.

Beta — the desktop app is still in beta. Core recording → transcript → summary flows are functional, but expect rough edges; issues may be fixed via frequent updates (the app updates itself automatically).

Both installers are code-signed (DigiCert on Windows; Apple Developer ID, notarized, on macOS).

Highlights

  • Meeting detection — detects when Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, or Slack huddle is running and offers to record.
  • Consent-first recording — a consent script is shown before every recording; every consent event is written to a local audit log.
  • Manual recording — record any conversation without a detected meeting; discard anytime before upload.
  • Automatic transcription & AI summary — recordings upload automatically and progress to a transcript with speaker labels, an AI summary, and action items.
  • Summary templates — pick a summary template when you start recording.
  • Review, copy, manage — browse your recordings, copy the summary / action items / transcript to the clipboard, delete recordings.
  • Smart microphone handling — automatic input-device selection (including clamshell-mode correction on MacBooks) with a live mic level indicator and device picker, so recordings don't silently capture the wrong mic.
  • Upload retry — failed uploads keep the local audio and can be retried from the app.
  • English / 日本語 — full UI in English and Japanese; transcription language auto-detected or pinned per recording.
  • Automatic updates — the app keeps itself up to date on both platforms.
  • Local privacy — recordings are stored locally only until upload and auto-deleted after 24 hours (configurable); tokens live in the OS-encrypted store.

Notes

  • Beta: functionality and UI may change between releases while we iterate.
  • The macOS build is Apple silicon (arm64) only in this release. Intel Mac support is deferred.
  • macOS ships as a direct-download DMG (no Mac App Store in this release); Windows ships as an NSIS installer (no Microsoft Store yet).
  • If you were on an RC build: rc.15+ auto-updates to v0.1.0. On macOS, rc.14 or earlier needs a one-time manual install of this DMG.
