Why do you want to contribute?

Hi, I'd like to contribute to Trigger.dev.

I recently explored the repository, set up the project locally, and worked on issue #3316 (scheduled task test page crash when payload is empty).

I was able to reproduce the issue and implemented a fix by handling cases where parsePacket returns undefined, preventing the app from crashing.

I'm interested in contributing to backend and API-related issues, especially around task execution, payload handling, and bug fixes.

Looking forward to contributing more to the project.

Prior contributions or relevant experience

• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and backend development
• Familiar with APIs and debugging issues
• Set up the Trigger.dev project locally and worked on issue bug: Scheduled task test page crashes when previous runs have empty payloads #3316

This would be my first open source contribution, and I’m excited to start contributing.
