Add additional lobby URI settings  [introduce: UI event queue] (#9665)

* Update how lobby is selected, introduce a view-model event pattern

Changes:
(1) Always use the lobby specified in settings.
(2) Update preferences to allow for the prerelease lobby to be selected
(3) Introduce an event queue object to facilitate presentation-model pattern.
(4) Add missing 'check-links' check to 'verify' script
