v1.0.6
InkShelf v1.0.6
Library
- Fixed: with more than three libraries, the ones past the third didn't fit on screen and couldn't be picked. Tap the library name at the top of the screen to choose from all of them; the current one has a check mark. With only one library the name stays plain text. (#1, thanks @bronson-g for #2)

v1.0.5
InkShelf v1.0.5
Library
- Fixed: libraries with more than 200 books stopped partway through the alphabet, usually around Q. Every book now shows in the Title list and when you open an author or a series, and the saved offline copy includes the whole library too.
Books
- New Mark as finished button on a book's page, under Play. It syncs to your Audiobookshelf server, and "Finished" shows next to the book's length. Tap Mark as not finished to undo it.
- A finished book's button now says Play and starts from the beginning, instead of offering to resume at the very end.
Scrolling
- New Scrolling setting in Settings. Page, the default, turns one whole screen per swipe, so the e-ink screen redraws once instead of smearing while you drag. Smooth keeps the old follow-your-finger scrolling.
- The arrows on the scrollbar now work: tap one to go up or down a page.
- Long-press a scrollbar arrow to jump to the next or previous letter in the library. In other lists it jumps to the top or bottom.

v1.0.4
InkShelf v1.0.4
Look
- Section headings (Chapters, On this device, Settings sections and others) are no longer solid black bars. They're now bold black text with a line underneath, which is much easier on the eye.
- The A–Z letters in the library work the same way: a bold letter at the left with a line under it, like the index of a book.
- The Play button on a book's page is now an outlined button with a play icon instead of a solid black block, and the "Listen" heading above it is gone.

v1.0.3
InkShelf v1.0.3
Downloads
- Fixed: tapping Download on a book could do nothing at all. The download started and then stopped before it fetched anything, with no error shown. It now starts on the first tap.
Look
- The selected Title / Author / Series tab is now solid black, and the others are white with a black outline, so it's easier to tell at a glance which one you're on.
- Back is now an arrow icon on every screen.
- The Downloads button on the library screen is now a download icon.

v1.0.2
InkShelf v1.0.2
Easier to read on e-ink
- Letter dividers, section headings (Listen, Chapters, Settings), selected rows and the mini player are now pure black and white. The light gray they used came out speckled on the Kompakt's screen and hid the text on top of it.
- Cover art is now converted to dithered black and white for the e-ink screen. Covers that used to show as near-black squares now show their artwork and titles.
Downloads
- You can now cancel a download. Use Cancel download on the book page, or tap the progress ring. The transfer stops, and anything already saved is deleted.
- Fixed: removing a book mid-download could bring the download back.
- Removing a book now also deletes its empty folder, on internal storage or in your chosen download folder.
Playback
- Fixed: very long single-file books (60+ hours) wouldn't play, whether downloaded or streamed, and showed "Could not reach the server." Books up to about 80 hours at standard quality now open. Very long books can take a few seconds to start.
- Error messages are clearer. "Could not reach the server" now appears only for real connection problems.
Look
- New app icon that matches the Kompakt's built-in apps.
