Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js >= 18.0.0
• pnpm >= 8.0.0
• PostgreSQL >= 14

Installation

1. Clone the repository

   cd bussiness

2. Install dependencies

   pnpm install

3. Set up environment variables

   Backend (.env):

   cd apps/backend
   cp .env.example .env

   Edit apps/backend/.env and configure:

   • DATABASE_URL - PostgreSQL connection string
   • JWT_SECRET - Strong secret key for JWT
   • ANTHROPIC_API_KEY - Your Anthropic API key

   Frontend (.env.local):

   cd apps/frontend
   cp .env.example .env.local

4. Set up the database

   # From the project root
   pnpm db:migrate

5. Start development servers

   # Start both frontend and backend
   pnpm dev

   Or start them separately:

   # Backend (http://localhost:3001)
   cd apps/backend
   pnpm dev
   
   # Frontend (http://localhost:3000)
   cd apps/frontend
   pnpm dev
