ABC Emergency for Home Assistant v0.1.0

🎉 Initial Release

This is the first official release of the ABC Emergency integration for Home Assistant, providing real-time Australian emergency alerts directly in your smart home.

Three Monitoring Modes

  • State Mode: Monitor all emergencies across an entire state/territory
  • Zone Mode: Track alerts within a configurable radius of any location
  • Person Mode: Follow a person's location as they move for family safety

Installation

Via HACS (Recommended)

  1. Open HACS in Home Assistant
  2. Click the three dots menu → Custom repositories
  3. Add: https://github.com/troykelly/homeassistant-abcemergency
  4. Select category: Integration
  5. Click Install
  6. Restart Home Assistant

Manual Installation

  1. Download abcemergency.zip from this release
  2. Extract to custom_components/abcemergency/ in your Home Assistant config directory
  3. Restart Home Assistant
