Some apps dont have transparent background

I have translucency enabled as you can see in the two pictures.
Problem is some apps like dolphin or the kde partitioner work fine but others not
like kde filelight or keepassxc.

I tried some modifications like adding alpha value to the GeneralColors or adding
alpha values to the kde color schema.

Is it even possible to style some apps translucent as they could just ignore the kvantum styles?

Those apps are based on QML, not Qt widget (→ Theme-Making.pdf → A word about QML/Qt Quick).

Sorry, that's a KDE/Plasma question. Kvantum is a Qt plugin, not a KDE-specific app.

Personally, I use LXQt-kwin_wayland and no QML app, but that's beside the point.

If you use Kvantum, it depends on the theme: a more elementary look, lack of translucency, especially in menus, lack of rounded corners that are rounded in other apps, inconsistent colors, weird animations, etc. But in general, you need to check the dependencies of its package and see if packages with qml or qtquick in their names are among them.

Being written in QML doesn't mean opaqueness, but then the translucency is controlled by QtQuick, not QStyle (e.g., Kvantum). For example, the whole Plasma is based on QML. Most of KDE System Settings GUI is based on QML too. And I won't be surprised if, at some point, Dolphin, Kate and the remaining apps are rewritten in QML or replaced by such apps — like Spectacle, KDE's process monitor (if I remember correctly), etc.

Do you know of any way to get a uniform transparent look with booth systems?
Sadly i need some apps that are QML and switching to LXQt is no option i guess.

No.

That's OK; no need to be sad ;) QML is good for faster and easier development (at a cost whose explanation is beyond this comment), and you can use QML apps anywhere, but you can't get a completely uniform look and feel for QML and QWidget apps, whether in KDE, LXQt or anywhere else. They've made the Breeze widget style in such a way that it minimizes the differences.

And at least on kde it seams to some what unify transparent styles.
But kvantum would still be a lot easier.

Yes, it's also designed in a way to minimize the differences by using simple shapes.

Though KeePassXC uses QtWidgets, not QML.

If so, it doesn't fulfill all conditions of safe translucency.

I guess only the unlock does not show transparent background.
When you have the database unlocked it has transparent background at least with klassy.

There are several conditions for safe translucency in the code of Kvantum. Frankly, I have neither the time nor the motivation to dig into KeePassXC's code and find the condition(s) that it may not meet.
