We have added a DRM_PRIME buffer path to upload the planes generated by mpv's WaylandGL backend. It does not automatically fall back. If you encounter issues with the default GPU context, please try switching it to wayland. If the problem still persists, please report it to us.
X11 compatibility is back
The path mentioned above has also been tested to work with X11 on my machine. You can give it a try.
