• A stage routed to an OpenAI-compatible Provider B now gets the opted-in JSON schema response format. The gate read the global provider type instead of the routed one, the same fault #914 fixed for the reasoning field. The format probes also only ran on Provider A, so Provider B models never had an answer. Both slots are probed now, at startup and when either changes.
• A stage routed to Provider B sends that provider's reasoning field. The OpenAI-compatible client chose the reasoning shape from the global provider, so an OpenRouter Provider B behind a TypeSafe Provider A got no reasoning field at all, and the "retry with reasoning disabled" fallback sent the same request again. Reasoning models then spent the whole output budget and chapter generation failed.
